A Day In The Park

[Niro]

Tei, Kawa wasn't your ordinary genin who focused on learning all the jutsu he could to become more powerful. No, he focused on Iijutsu, medical jutsu. He preferred saving lives to killing, even if he was a ninja. Even with those ideals he wasn't against killing as long as it was for his village.

Right now Kawa was lying down on the east side of Konoha's central park. Above him the sun beat down, to his left, right, up, and down trees swayed in a light breeze as children played on the playground equipment and couples had picnics.

Kawa sighed. He had recently met the host of the Ichibi and even though he seemed a bit morbid he also seemed to be nice somewhat too. He plucked a piece of grass from the ground and idlely twirled it in between his fingers, waiting for SOMETHING to happen.

[7eleven]

"Hey, man! That's mine, I was sort of using that." Bensha was busy practicing in the park, when some random kid walked through the patch of grass that he had just created and plucked a blade. It wasn't that big of a deal, really, but he still felt like he should set up some sort of territory. Bensha had been practicing creating grass, and was enjoying the sunshine, his shirt laying to the side. The other kid would probably find the root-haired, green-skinned Bensha to be pretty odd, but he had learned to stop stressing to much about it.

[Niro]

Kawa shot up and dropped the blade of grass. He looked around, finally finding a green-skinned, root haired kid? What the hell? He got up and moved to the left, hoping to not be where the kid was practicing anymore. Finally something happened.

"Dude, is your hair really roots? Is your skin really that green or is that make-up?! Either way, that's pretty damn cool!" Kawa commented on the kid as he let out a small grin.

[7eleven]

Bensha looked down at his skin, noticing that it was a bit more green than it usually was, probably because of how long he'd spent outside. Other kids tanned, Bensha pumped out chlorophyll. "Yeah, bro, on both counts. I sort of have this plant growing inside of me, it's pretty righteous, actually. I dig the eyepatch. Fresh, dude. Fresh."

[Niro]

"Haha, thanks. What is it like? Having something living inside of you?" Kawa asked. He was genuinely interested seeing as he had recently met the container of the Ichibi. Besides meeting this new kid and Yasunari he'd been locked up in the library, reading about chakra control and ninjutsu. "My names Tei, Kawa. Nice to meet you, sorry for not introducing myself earlier."

[7eleven]

"It's cool, man. S'all good. The name's Senju, Bensha." As he spoke he bent over to grab his shirt, and then draped it over his shoulder. "And it's not weird to me, actually. I was born like this, so it's really hard to try to understand what it would be like to live without it."

[Niro]

"Yeah, you're right I guess. What do you focus around? I know most Senju use Mokuton but some people have gimmicks. With your awesome plant you must be able to do something cool, besides being an awesome shade of green and roots for hair." Kawa asked. While he himself was a medic nin he was trying to break from it a bit and become more offensive.

[7eleven]

Bensha shrugged. "I still have quite a bit of growing to do. I have the Mokuton thing, like the rest of us, but my stowaway gives me some more stuff to work with. Liiiike...I have these roots, for starters, and then it gives me the ability to do a lot of stuff with nature that most people can't do. I'm sure they could if they tried hard, I guess, but this makes it really easy. Sometimes, I feel like I'm one with nature, as lame as that sounds." Bensha plopped his tush gently on the ground, he could see this conversation lasting for awhile. He didn't really have anything else to do, anyways. "And what's your thing?"

[Niro]

"That's pretty cool. I'm a medic nin. Most of my jutsu are designed to help my team mate but I have a few Raiton jutsu for offense if I need them. I'm actually working on a new jutsu but I need to get better with my ninjutsu to get it down but when I can do it, I'll be a monster at taijutsu." Kawa grinned, thinking of the jutsu. It was used to render flesh from the opponent with simple punches and kicks but until Bensha asked, he wasn't going to spill.

[7eleven]

Bensha nodded, an idea forming in his head. "Call me crazy, man. Say I'm jumping the gun, but I think I've got an idea. With you on heals and offense, me on defense and scouting with Mokuton and grass, we could have a pretty good basis for a team, yeah? We'd need a third roller, obviously, maybe a guy that's good at offense and defense. I've actually been meaning to learn some med techs myself, since I'd like to get into the field of poisons, and it'd be a good idea to understand how the poisons work. Me, you, and a third kid could do some major damage, man."

[Niro]

"That's true, we could. Ever heard of the Ichibi host that wanders about? I met him a night or two ago and he seems he could be our offensive and defensive guy. I'll try and find him again later but for now yeah, that'd be awesome if we were a team." Kawa grinned in reply to Bensha. This kid was cool and he was definitely liking his ideas.

[7eleven]

"Dude, for real? Like...you're not kidding? Plant kid, Ichibi kid and eye patch kid all on the same team? That's just too much cool to handle, man, and I like it. I like it a lot. But...for a team this intense, man, we're gonna need a team name, right? Something that seems impressive, while being cool. And it has to roll off the tongue. What do you think? Any ideas? Bensha was getting rather excited over this. He wasn't one to gloat, but this team would be pretty fantastic.

[Niro]

"Damn straight Bensha! Though I really need a new nickname..Being called eye patch kid while you two would be Plant kid and Ichibi kid makes me sound so lame. Team name huh? Well, how about Marui Roba? Or hell, even Sutona?" Kawa asked back in return to Bensha's question, pondering over more names.

[7eleven]

Bensha shrugged. "Well, you try to talk to the Ichibi kid about this, and we'll have a full team meeting about it, assuming he's interested. Which, why wouldn't he be? We're pretty cool, if I do say so myself, man." Bensha bounced up to his feet, raising his hand in offer of a high-five towards his new bro.

[Niro]

"Alright, cool. Hm, I suppose we'll need a way to contact each other or a way for us to find each other when I can find him. Also," Kawa stood up and made a fist and held it out. "People as awesome as us bump fists."

[7eleven]

Bensha, staying as chill as possible, clenched his fist and bumped it with Kawa's. Hmm, idea. Bensha dug into his pouch, and pulled out a single seed, handing it to his new partner. "That's a seed that I typically use to track opponent's during battle, but I'll be able to sense you too, if you're within a certain range of me. It's not the best, I know, but it's better than just running around town trying to find one another. I'll keep in touch, yeah?"

[Niro]

"Definitely. Plus I only live a few blocks away from here so if you're also close to her then it'd be really easy." Kawa easily accepted the seed and slipped it into his left ninja pouch. "Well, it's getting kinda late. I suppose I better go, I have to go research a bit more about my jutsu idea. See ya around, alright?"

[7eleven]

"Alright, man, I'll see you around. Make sure you get in touch with the Ichibi kid, I'll keep my chakra for the seed, so I'll track you down and see what's what if I notice you're around." And, with that, Bensha headed home to shower and head to bed.
