[OOC: Yaku vs Taisaku.]

An isolated cactus seemed fairly soaked from the morning's spreading of dew. The night before had been long and cold, but as the sun rose, the cool air met heated wind. Negativity surged into positivity, formulating this small warm period of time.

In the distance from the tree emerged Taisaku, a Jounin of the land that the tree was to be owned by. He came from the earth as if it were water, and started walking summoning dust upon each step. The air felt tamed, but his eyes weren't. His golden eyes looked malicious as they glistened in reflection to the sunlight. It was white and low, with the skies blue and most of the land still black.

It had been early. Much too early, but he couldn't care less. He had nothing much to do, and had appointed in meeting this person here. The tree was easy to remember. The man stepping on his shoe was easy to remember...

Although their encounter was brief, the intentions they had were in a certain bond. To Taisaku, it was a battle, but surely it may turn out to be a gentlemanly spar. In reality, Taisaku wasn't mad about being stepped on the foot, but he knew in the man's eyes he wanted something to go on. His eyes looked like they were begging to fight.

Just remembering the man's eyes made Taisaku pop his left hand's fingers, and think about summoning Junbei.

For he too had been waiting for a moment like this.

Tcht... Village Nin.

He found most of them disgusting and vile. Most were itching for a fight and anxious to prove themselves. They had became so lost in their cycle of pride, they had forgotten the fundamentals of a shinobi. If war was what they wanted, Yaku would give it to them.

"I wont go easy..."
Yaku stated coldly. His words spilled like ash and empowered his stoic nature. He did not move, he did not fidget or twitch with anxiety. He was a statue in the wind and his eyes pierced with certainty. It was almost inhuman and in his callous stature, he continued.

"I will take your greatest strength and make it your weakness."

Yaku stood nearly 20 meters from Taisaku. Neither had any idea about the other. All of Yaku's titles, hype, and stature as a missing nin was lost in this battle. He was as unknown as the man before him. This is what he liked. To take their perception and crush it.

"Show me what you specialize in."

His feet planted itself in the dirt and his eyes hardened. It was time...

Taisaku's breath appeared, billowing its way into the swinging temperatures. Soon it will be hot and sizzling. Of course, he had immunity to such weather.

He saw his opponent stand by, waiting for Taisaku to make the first move. Surely, it became a gesture to begin. And with a good time to think, he catapulted all of his weight straight ahead. Arms were piercing the air fiercely, able to use his handseals with all that wind smacking against him and his brisking flow of speed.

First he had to go with the Genjutsu, and make his opponent not see any of it coming. The Genjutsu performed allowed him to shift locations from the real him without the opponent noticing. With an arm waving to the side, but in a way to look as if he is about to reach for a kunai while running, he allowed the Trigger to slip in an unnoticeable fashion. Then stepped aside, but continued to run ahead, just three feet from the false location. That way his opponent can hit the clone, but find himself too late to defend.

Timing was mandatory, and he needed it all to be shortened and useful. With Chakra Kai, the waved hand summoned a kunai built with a bomb-tag over the handle inside his grip. Obviously, the clone could have it there with its hand as well, but will not be able to throw it or have the false kunai bomb have any effect.

All Taisaku could do for now is hide and sprint.

Pre-planned
C-Ranked Genjutsu
A simple manuever made when the user is beginning to cook something up, especially in close quarters. What happens is they create a handseal, then waves his arms around [being the trigger], and begin moving to a maximum of a meter from their place. What happens is that they created an illusion of having themself invisible, and only one clone present in his place. What's wrong with it is that the user will need to be at the most, a meter away from it, or it will vanish. Hitting the illusion also cancels it. Creating jutsu also cancels it. Attacking the person affected will definately cancel it. Duration set for three posts.

"Oh?" Yaku questioned dubiously. His perfect stoic stature broke for a slight second as he witnessed the jutsu unfold. His fingers relaxed and he slowly reached for the hilt of his sword. The jounin was eager to begin and Yaku would make sure not disappoint. They lived their lives for this sole moment. Battle. The jutsu was an interesting display, but his eyes flickered right through its disguise. He had fought countless men that believed they had the leg up, but every time... he showed them true reality. This type of jutsu had no effect on Yaku. It had probably been the demise of many men like himself... but they lacked the abilities that he held.

Too bad I'm a sensor.

The clone was nothing, but an image. It lacked chakra and it lacked the substance that god had gifted them. Three feet to its left was the true source. The man behind the curtain. A clever ruse, but futile against someone of his level. My reality is stronger than yours.

"Heh, interesting display... Only one problem."

He let his words hang for a moment as he let it sit in Jins mind. He wanted the insecurity to peel away at his confidence. The weakness of all humans were their emotion and Yaku would exploit it. Such weakness was useless on him. He continued to watch the clone; he never looked away and he refused to betray his thoughts.

"Your jutsu have no effect on me."

His word was only a whisper and almost lost to the sudden burst of speed that he exhibited. It was unnatural... almost inhuman. Every footstep had a place and Yaku showed this perfectly. His form had no flaws and within an instant, his long six foot blade cut through the air. Its long reach arced sideways to rip right through Taisuku and his useless ruse. His eyes were always careful and alert. His eyes kept fixated on the clone. The kunai and its tag was imprinted in his mind.

To be honest, Yaku had no idea if it was a genjutsu. It was his first belief, but there was always the option of a simple invisibility charm. Either way, the taste of his blade would tell him the truth.

Taisaku couldn't believe his eyes. His opponent went with intense speed in his approach. It wasn't beyond, but surely speed at a level little out of his league. He saw everything coming, but was simply too slow to react to it all on time. The weapon. He stab through both his illusion and Taisaku.

The Sentinel's reaction was out of hesitation than skill, for he could not maneuver against such a powerful run and strike. It was simple, and Taisaku was easily hit by the weapon. His chances to at least use his immense speed gave him the chance to not allow the attack strike a vital organ; though it did send quite a heavy penetration through his right shoulder.

Already, Taisaku had been stuck by the sword, but by the time he had been struck he stayed there, took his precious chance to perform his ultimate Genjutsu technique. With it, it should drain the ninja so severely he would gain quite the upper advantage after a moment's pass.

With a trigger acting as though he threw a weapon from his free hand, he sent it launching, hitting the foe in the forehead. In its result, he will feel so much pain, and if not that, energy loss under the wake of a mere moment (post).

With that he waited readily while his opponent should have to experience immobility, pain, and drain from the Genjutsu.

This had to be quite a quick battle. Such a man to make Taisaku this quickly hurt and use his most powerful Genjutsu is someone he must honor for the rest of his life. That is IF he lives through this...

Fader’s Dwelling
S-Rank Genjutsu
This Genjutsu will require its user to form some handseals, and try and have foes watch him throw out his hand. Of course, he's not really throwing anything, but to the watcher, it's visualized that a knife is being thrown to them as they see the hand. The hand being the trigger. With them seeing his knife come at them in neck-breaking speeds—to the point that it becomes impossible to dodge. Once hit, the victim will feel it hit dead on to their forehead. Instantly, they feel all what it is they should feel having a weapon's entire blade embedded into their forehead. Their heart will race, thumping louder than thunder to their ears; their vision fades; and minds may channel into the past as a last lick of happiness. This is just in a post. On the second, they feel the sensations of dying—but not necessarily. They will fall weak, with their entire body drained from the feeling of the death blow. The duration is just that sensation—1 post. Afterwards, the opponent will feel immensely drained when it ends from experiencing 99.9% of near death experience. While this his happening, the user cannot move in for the attack or step from his position.

Blood. It was so soft and fragile. He could feel it split into his opponents skin and exit out his shoulder. The blade moved graceful and his feet carried him past his opponent to a rather secure distance. He was just getting started. His gray eyes never budged and it remained their same callous reflection. They had seen death so many times that the sheer sight of blood was as common as the grass or the sky.

It was beautiful.

"You are experiencing pain right now.
" Yaku began, his eyes swept the figure before him. His cold eyes penetrated right through the man and past his seeping blood. Nothing went unnoticed. "Through all of the masquerades. Blood never lies. It's-"

His voice choked for a slight second. The genjutsu had been released and Yaku had been taken back for a sudden moment. He was not use to such sensations and it swept right through his body. The image struck into his skull and the vibrations shuddered within his skin. He didn't understand the concept of pain and for these brief instances, he knew it. It took his chakra nodes several moments to react. It was the gift of a Fushinkou and as these circulated through his body, Taisaku would see the strict stature and composure of Yaku Fushinkou break for several moments.

He had to wrestle for control. The genjutsu was attacking his perception of stamina and his eyes widened slightly. This feeling was very surreal. It was a fake feeling, but as real as he could grasp. It wasn't often that he was forced this feeling. His Fushinkou clan nodes were pulsing and shoving off the weakness. This had all taken the span of a mere five seconds to regain his body.

My body is my own.

"A Fushinkou... does NOT know pain Fudoyori, Taisaku" His voice was calm and placid, but there was a slight hint of disgust and irritation. "We do not know emotion... we do not know death. Even after we are killed... we still walk the earth."

His mouth parted into a semi awkward smile. It looked so fake on his cold demeanor and almost unnatural. He took a soft step forward and began to slowly approach Taisaku. Each step was greeted with a long line of seals. Their creation was the trick. With in its creation was the facade of not one, but two jutsu. His hidden mist and genjutsu. They were performed in perfect conjunction.

His eye glinted as the sudden darkness overwhelmed them. It was almost as if a light switch had been turned off. Everything became pitch black and nothing could be seen. The thick coat overwhelmed the field.

"This darkness is a genjutsu."
Yaku stated coldly. It was of course a lie, but he loved to see them squirm in the darkness. "They pride you as Deception of the Hidden Stone... What a joke."

Impossible. This warrior can see through Genjutsu, go against the laws of pain, and then some. Even an S rank Genjutsu was able to be broken. Of course, he had to tax his energy for the cost of it all in odd ways. I just know it. This man is not immortal after all. I hope. . .

Taisaku remembered the Z he had defeated not too long before. He was considered an Immortal. It was true, immortality can be a possible experience; but not so in a forever state. There can and will be a time when a SAID immortal can die just like any other ninja.

Like that battle, he was intrigued by this one now. Probably even more, for this ninja had quite a pace to react after every offense. Taisaku then learned of the feeling that he had to rush himself and defend. As if.

As one of the well-trained Sentinels, he knew a lot about Genjutsu and maintaining self-control. In fact, it was his specialty along with Taijutsu. The mere moment his opponent said about Genjutsu, there had to be a story behind the reason why he said that. And with an instant feeling to not attack and fend for himself already made this moment a bit out of place to what he knows how he should feel in a fight. Never in his life had a surprise been able to push him back without calculative reasoning...

Kai

And with that, he leapt blank, and turned on his Thermal Vision. He could see the bodily heat of his opponent. No matter what kind of coverage there is to be in the playing field, as long as it does not affect the thermal radiation in its atmosphere in intense ways, he can detect the target.

Although his opponent would not know of this as they stood in the dark, he made himself appear ignorant; faking his gestures and fear, as if he was to comply along with the Genjutsu as given. If there were any additional effects and illusions, his opponent might detect his false sense of fear. But to what Taisaku can understand, it was only an emotional drive; one of many he has under his belt as is.

He summoned two new Kunai, and threw the first ten feet behind him, then the second another right in front of Yaku's feet. Activating it, but also landing in-between the locations from his recent fallback leap. So he still had another behind him, unactivated in the dark atmosphere.

With that, he activated his feet to make his steps build no sound.

Pretty much, all this jutsu can do is soften the user’s footsteps by having it press into the surface, and sink in it. And when it releases from its step, nothing is apparently there to trace. OOC: I'm guessing there was explosive notes attached to the kunai?

Yaku seemed displeased as he witnessed his chakra fade away from the Sentinel. The darkness had overlapped and even after kai, Taisaku was still walking about as if the darkness was foreign. Yaku wasn't sure to believe this facade or not. Most that couldn't see never moved. It was the shinobi code to remain perfectly still in these type of situations and to switch to defense.

Yaku didn't have to wait long to find out. The Kunai zipped from the sentinels fingers, one in front... one behind. Yaku had to leap back to avoid the blunt of the explosion. His eyes were perfectly trained on the jounin.

I guess a test... or few can't hurt.

Fushinkou nodes knew the exact change of emotion, but for some odd reason, Yaku didn't seem to care. His eyes glinted for a slight second and with the enemies genjutsu in his mind, his fingers zipped back and forth between his jacket and the fray.

His body took motion and he began to make wild dips and turns, throwing a total of six different kunai. Miss or hit, he didn't stop. The thrill of the hunt was beginning to creep into his mind.

He was getting closer and closer. Only when he became prudent of the overshadowing genjutsu over his head did he lean back onto his Fushinkou nodes as a crutch. Remove the emotion. All of it.

OOC: He summoned two new ones, one thrown behind the other thrown ahead, and still is holding the previous one he had in the beginning. The thing about that genjutsu I hit you with, it will drain you than hit your emotional nodes. By removing the feeling effects, you don't necessarily remove this Genjutsu. LETHARGY AWAITS YOU.
Taisaku hurriedly sank to the ground.

Taisaku could only wait and bait on until he notice his opponent's energy being wasted. The exertion can go without emotion, and he learned from his previous mistake not to hit just the emotion. Such a waste on such a great technique... was not going to be implemented again, he knew that was for sure.

With Epic Combat, tables might turn over for him, as his opponent, whatever he will do, will double the effort and exertion. With that in mind, he summoned his breathing pack, and made himself dwell beneath the surface. Like a creature, he waited in the shadows; in this care inside the earth.

And to keep the fun on rolling, before his hand went inside the earth, he threw the kunai at his opponent, forcing it to explode through the usage of chakra kai. If he were to dodge, block, or deflect it, it would mean more energy is to be wasted on his part for 2 posts.

The Genjutsu seeped into his mind and twisted into the many crevises of his frontal lobe. It was tugging at him to try harder and to win faster. The nudging feeling was almost empowering. He loved it and even if he knew the symptoms of a genjutsu, he reveled in it. It was exhilarating.

His body darted across the map in a flashy exhibition of his speed. The Kunai had barely hit the earth to explode before he was gone. If Yaku was fighting slightly less inefficiently... he either didn't notice or didn't care. His Fushinkou nodes disallowed such thoughts. He had a perfect view of their chakra and Yaku was in no panic. He could read and analyze every taxation and make presumptions upon his actions. He would meet the jounin tit for tat.

"Chakra boils in every action. In every motion and every jutsu. I can feel your own chakra pulsating through my vains. It is in these moments... we truly become alive. Am I right?"

The mist enclosed around them and left a single Missing nin watching as the sentinel made an attempt to go under ground. Yaku debated of calling forth Seidou's help, but quickly thought against it. This is my battle.

The next sudden moment was the swift and sudden burst of his speed. Taisaku's genjutsu had worked and it cracked into the veins of his upper body. Perhaps it had worked too well. Yaku's fist cracked into the earth and his incredible speed lunged the second fist deep into the ground. His sensor abilities told him exactly where the worm was hiding and he had no qualms about flushing him out. The impact caused the ground to rupture.

16000 pounds of force was beneath every swing and crushed into the dirt as if he was splashing through water. The ground shifted and the mist dispersed from the sheer weight of his speed. It blew away at his arrival. Yaku was going to bury his opponent alive. One fist at a time.

"Lets see what's more efficient..."

His fist crashed through the previous tunnel and his sword dipped downward in a dangerous arc at the jounin. The genjutsu was propelling him to strike harder and fiercer. He wanted to bring the world in upon his head.

"Your doton affinity or my physical strength."

Taisaku could not believe his Heat Visors... The man zoomed above him, and started pummeling the earth. Knocking hard soil with strength that he never head of before. It was as if he was fighting a certain leader of a Hidden Village. Indeed, Taisaku found an opponent beyond his worth. He realized it only up until now.

Luckily, he did use the perfect Genjutsu in situations like these at the right time. That run, those punches, had to be enough to drop his energy quite a bit. Just one more post of him having to do anything. Just, Taisaku wouldn't know if it may turn over the battle, turn it into a stalemate, or have the man with enough to guffaw with after turning Taisaku into pebbles.

With enough swirls and speed digging, Taisaku fleshed out a large tunnel by the time his opponent was near. If he could remember correctly, he was only 10 feet under the kunai he threw behind him above not too long ago. When his opponent finally came down, he would be able to see a large area for the two to finally fight it off; experience a final showdown.

Finally, since yesterday, Taisaku spoke for the first time:
"This is it." With that, he prepared to make his battle-ready stance, the all-so-famous breathe in and breathe out action. With his left hand on firmly over Junbei, after summoning the 12 foot blade in his hand for the first time against his impregnable opponent through the use of Chakra Kai again, feet agape, eyes peering into the dark underground with eerie gold reflections. Then closed them shut.

He could see the heat pressing about his opponent's body. Such musculature and energy...

He would wait for his opponent to land, and be at the ready. He would have no clue if his opponent could see in a dark area that wasn't inside his dark clouds above. So it may be of Taisaku's advantage. He knew little about this man before, and understand a whole new world after the fight. To think that a warrior from out of nowhere was able to make Taisaku's arm fall down made him think of the good old days...

And indeed, the arm that was pierced did fall slump to his side--simply fell inoperable. Luckily he was skilled with the sword in particular through the use of only one hand, and when the time he felt was right to come, he went for the run. Performing a technique involving his breathe going out, but a second slower than the sound it uttered, and going in in the same way. All of his speed then was exerted in a mere moment, hitting the maximum with tour de force and not a fraction less.

It was a technique of "pure speed", and not just speed in general terms. It was all he had got, and thus required it to be a technique in his arsenal. Because of his injury, it would take some energy out of him, and he knew this. It didn't matter. His sword was killing the air, singing a tune in this thin air, sweeping at his opponent in the name of FUDOYORI TAISAKU.

The sentinel ripped through the earth and the man in blue followed.

The genjutsu was seeping away from his mind, it continued to grasp at his energy and Yaku pulled at the last strands to break free into the cavern. His thoughts was clouded with excitement. It had been a long time since he had ever felt this type of sensation. It was rare... very rare.

He landed with a nice thud and glanced around the open area. It was dark... His eyes quickly traced to the opposite side of the cavern. The sentinel was ready and Yaku calculated and analyzed his chakra. It was ebbing and almost completely out, yet he showed no weakness. He was going to keep fighting. Interesting...

"Many fail to see through the darkness.." Yaku observed as he watched his opponent. Both of them were preparing to attack. "Its in their weakness, I strike them down."

His foot skid in defense as soon as his opponents chakra level moved to attack. The burst of speed was admirable and Yaku braced himself for impact. His long six foot blade reached out, ready to swipe away and collide blades. His eyes analyzed the room for chakra.

[OOC: That theme song is so epic you posted, let's say it continues even on through my posts lol. Nice find.]
One explosion. One burst. One thrust. One chance.

Taisaku never, in his entire life, fought someone of this calibre. It was like fighting a Lord of a Hidden Village; with uniqueness all in this man's veins. As if he shared some sort of Kekkei Genkai against Genjutsu. Truly, he had surpassed Taisaku, and he could tell this man knew this ever since their encounter that day.

As usual, he was a quiet fighter. So nothing came out of him just yet.

Taisaku still boasted a mountain of determination. Can see some of himself in this unknown warrior even, for he was a bit quiet most of the fight as well. Only to speak more now, not knowing Taisaku was well intuned with the dark. Not that it mattered. This was his last straw, his last arrow to shoot; and if the energy waste in this warrior wasn't totally affected by Taisaku's Genjutsu, then there wouldn't even be a stalemate. But there is that if factor that he could lose a lot, he could see some of his heat move around a bit--a huge sign. And surely, he knew he wasn't going to win. But trying to get "somewhere" was better than letting it all go.

Taisaku never quits.

And with one push with his 4 yard sword, he went with a single entry, hoping that it would at least open some door. Somewhere. Inside of Yaku's thoughts.

....

Then as he reached to Yaku, swords clanging, his mind stopped. Energy stopped. All of Taisaku, widely known as Nise, or Epic, throughout the Village of Hidden Stone, had trembled from this world. His mind was there, but his body completely had given itself out. And how magnificent he looked: One arm dangling, another at a clash with a Bannin, and eyes covered by his long raven hair. Too bad it was in the middle of pure darkness. Inside a whole other realm from the world above.

Almost in a snap, his mouth moved, with not even the strength to talk normally--only to whisper:
"What is your name...?"

[Graded]Thrown to the Asylum

Time began to slow down in these final moments.

Every breath, every step, and every foothold was watched from the dull eyes of Yaku Fushinkou. The sentinel came closer and closer... within the dark and with his sword ready. It wasn't often that there was a shinobi prepared to fight in the darkness. Most became lost and most panicked. It was in these type of fights that Yaku became impressed. His eyes widened and he took a slight step back.

He could see it all... a spectator leaning in as he subtly watched the chakra slowly drain with each step of the jounin. Even as reality tugged at him to collapse, he kept moving. This was a trait he had only thought possible to a Fushinkou.

"Haha... a true Fushinkou."

Yaku smirked as he watched the man topple before him. His own ignorance had forced him to the very forefront of battle. Did he not feel pain? Did he not feel exhaustion? Yaku loomed above the young man and watched from his dull gray eyes. It was in a brief second, that they flickered with life.

Yaku sheathed his blade and slowly tied it to his back. He had never been afraid to lose, but he had felt a slight sensation of surprise. This was a rare feeling and he looked towards the collapsed jounin appreciatively. Any sensation was a good one in comparison to his bleak life.

"Only the Fushinkou fight until their last draw of breath. Some of us... even more than that."

He let his words hang for a second longer, he only paused briefly to hear the sentinels words. They were dry and weak. They were fragile. His last bit of strength had been forced into his voice. Yaku strained his ears to hear.

"Keep this between us. Call it your own little secret..."

"Yaku... my name is Yaku Fushinkou."

With his words trailing in the wild, Yaku turned to leave. He had enjoyed enough fun for the day. As the darkness consumed him, he would slowly vanish away.
